The US Supreme Court has Archaic Rules for Life Time Justices Appointments
It is very disturbing the rules that pertains for Justices appointments and the infinite time they wish to serve. The rule that justices should remain serving in the court indefinitely is outrageous. There should be compulsory retirement age and I propose an age limit of 85. Death follows generally few years later. It is not cool to have justices die at very old age in the eighties or early nineties while still serving in the bench or being in the hospital with terminal illnesses and not performing their job.
The late justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg is bad example:
Born | Joan Ruth Bader March 15, 1933 Brooklyn, New York City, U.S. |
---|---|
Died | September 18, 2020 (aged 87) Washington, D.C., U.S. |
She refused to retire before her death.
Enabling King Kong Donald Trump to appoint a third Justice in his four years single term.\
