Moved from Santa Barbara. When I realized this was a red county turning blue, I was relieved. But apparently...a bunch of people still think 1980s were the best in the West. Mr. Rohrabacher is a road block to 21st century change, and doesn't stand for dissension. He has not said hello to his constituents in awhile.

Dude works for Russia. I realize that's completely in style for people who don't like this country and want o horde money away from the shrinking middle class, but it's just not cool with me.

The congressman will not respect the will of his people. Despite the ACA being very popular among his constituents he wants to repeal it. Even though California would likely keep a health exchange regardless, because of the overwhelming support the ACA has here. What a terrible congressional representative.

He blocks constituents from his page if they have differing views or opinions. He refuses to hold town hall meetings. He distorts reality to justify not meeting with members of his district--police reports can confirm this. He is a staunch Republican who only cares about wealthy white voters. I am embarrassed and ashamed that he is a member of Congress. He  votes party over country at every turn.

Went to drop off a valentine with information about my concerns as a constituent and the door was locked. Not sure why someone that represents me doesn't want to hear from me and the staff doesn't know how to handle peaceful requests for a town hall meeting. More dissatisfied than ever.

I'm with a peaceful group of constituents who are requesting a town hall. We were told by the office staff our congressman doesn't do town halls because "no one would come" and "it's too expensive to rent a hall." Our group is willing to fund a hall, but our congressman is unresponsive. Yesterday, I was in the hall when his staffer suddenly opened the locked door (she HAD to know someone was there - the hall has a camera and a note was being slipped under at the time.) A small child was knocked over and then the staffer tripped. The congressman called us thugs in a newspaper interview. This could not be further from the truth. This man does not represent us and is deaf to our comments and requests. He needs to retire and be voted out of office. We will not tolerate him any longer.

Get this Russian back stabber to american people out of office. He or anyone from office never returns calls when they find out a democrat called him.

I'm a long-time constituent, and have never contacted Rep. Rohrabacher.  But, with the quick dismantling of our wonderful Republic by Steve Bannon and Trump, I decided it was time to make contact.  I finally wanted to visit, and went on Jan. 31 with a group of fellow constituents.  Our average age was 50.  One was an amputee.  A few of us went up to his suite, but they not only wouldn't let us inside to leave some petitions, letters and just state our position on a variety of topics, but THEY CALLED THE POLICE.  On their own constituents.  They said we were "disturbing the police".  We were whispering, we had no signs upstairs, and we just wanted to talk with a staff member since he's in DC.  I have video proof on my own phone of the first 3-4 people who asked to speak with someone.  Who the heck runs for political office, then instructs their staff to call the cops on his own constituents?????

Kathleen R.

Zero stars for our "representative" who has Pro-Trump, anti-women positions and is more interested in traveling to Russia than meeting with his constituents.

I went to Dana Rohrabacher's office with fellow constituents to request an " In Person " town hall.  We also had signed requests from constituents for the town hall who could not be present. We were greeted by a locked door. When we buzzed for entrance to drop off signatures we were turned away by a voice from the speaker. They would not even open the door to receive the signatures. I encourage all people in the 48 district to research the positions of D.R and join us in asking for an In Person town hall,

What a joke! Tried to get an IRS matter resolved.  Anything but helpful. referred me to another dysfunctional organization known as taxpayers advocacy office in Laguna Hills.  Guess what, no one returned my call there either.  Then the Rep. at the congressman's office stated he did his job by sweeping me down the road to this office instead of making contact with the IRS to solve the problem where the IRS fails to answer phone calls.   Complete lack of  accountability. Unable to resolve matters and  a complete waste of tax payer funds.

Horrible man.

On a long ballot that listed all the candidates without descriptions, Rohrabacher received 35 percent of the vote, followed next by Democrats Harley Rouda and Laura Oatman. On a long ballot with descriptions, Rohrabacher got 29 percent while Democrat Hans Keirstead and Republican Scott Baugh tied at 12 percent. A narrow ballot that omitted Baugh showed Rohrabacher at 41 percent and Keirstead at 18 percent.
