Mitt Romney to Campaign for John Kasich in Ohio

Mitt Romney will stump on the Ohio campaign trail Monday with Gov. John Kasich in hopes of defeating Donald Trump in the winner-take-all delegates state.

The pair will appear together in North Canton and in Westerville, located just outside Columbus, reports NBC News, one day before the primary election on Tuesday. The 2012 GOP presidential nominee is not expected to endorse Kasich on the campaign swing, but still, the appearance will mark the first time Romney, who called Trump a "fraud" in a speech earlier this month, has campaigned directly for any candidate.

Romney also earlier this month slammed Trump as a "fraud" during a speech in Utah, saying that "prospects for a safe and prosperous future are greatly diminished" if the New York real estate mogul should become the Republican nominee.

It is clear wants to stump Trump and deny him the win in Ohio if this will be the case.
